NIGARDSBREEN ICE CAVES WINTER

Our most popular trip is visiting the Nigardsglacier, and exploring the caves at the terminal glacier. This trip requires minimal ski training, and can also be done on snow shoes. See the last big glacier in europe up close, and explore the caves at the front, where the ice is so blue and clear that it's hard to believe. Anyone who can ski or walk can do this trip!

MOUNTAINS OF JOSTEDAL
Passing through valleys covered in snow with big mountains to all sides is a great experience, which is easily accomplished i Jostedalen. Hut to hut is also an option, as well as starting and ending at the hotel.

NORDIC SKI COURSE

This course is for beginners and those who have just started skiing. We will teach you ski techniques for all snow conditions. You learn what is practical to use in the mountains. Other important issues is learn to wax skis, how to dress and stay dry in the mountains, map and compass, and make an bivouac in the snow. For those who want is it possible to stay one night out in a snow cave/shelter. The course will be held in Jostedalen, where we have good stabile snow conditions.

Warmclothes for winter, including underwear and wind and water protection.
Ski with good boots.
Termos for those who prefer something warm to drink in winter conditions.

Avalanche Course
Digging, probing and skiing our way into better understanding of the great, white dragon. Full week or three day course. Max 5 per guide.
